This environmentally and socially focused development has given much needed council housing in Bristol. Built by ZED PODS for the YMCA the homes provide affordable housing for people most at risk in the area.
The scheme enables housing to be positioned over current car parking spaces making the most of land use.
The modular build has very high levels of insulation and good air tightness, leading to low energy bills and usage. Each module is built in factory then transported by road and gives short build time on site.
These homes feature a NILAN Compact S to provide DHW, Heat Recovery and Ventilation.
